The Queen Poncho design is a modern take on the classic poncho that could not be easier to make!  The poncho is knit flat in stockinette with rib border on two sides.  The design is shown with decorative custom-created horn buttons that are available at  Handspun Hope.

Stitch in Common is a collaborative effort that was created to lift up economically disadvantaged designers from all over the world, making their pattern designs available to the knitting and crochet communities.  Volunteers translate the designs into English language patterns along with technical editing, providing access to the global marketplace while ensuring that the patterns and proceeds go to the designers and their community.
